About us
One truck and a grudge against the landfill.
Green Spot Hauling started in 2025 with a simple observation: most of what Reno throws away isn’t garbage. It’s furniture that never met the right family, metal that never met the right recycler, and boxes that never got a second chance.
So our routing policy is written into the name: nothing goes to the dump until we’ve tried to give it away or recycle it first. Donate, then recycle, then — and only then — a licensed transfer station. We weigh and track what we haul from day one, because we intend to publish real numbers, not vibes.
We’re new, locally owned, and hungry — which works in your favor. No inherited shortcuts, no “that’s how it’s always done,” and no job too small to take seriously. Junk removal is sweaty, unglamorous work; we just think the last mile of an object’s life deserves the same care as its first.
The receipts
We count everything.
Every load is weighed in, sorted, and weighed out — from our very first haul. As the numbers grow, they’ll live right here. Hold us to it.
founded in Reno — locally owned and operated, not a franchise
five dumpster sizes with weight included and flexible rental periods
online booking with real-time availability — no phone tag required
Donated
Clean furniture, working appliances, books, and tools go to local charities and thrift partners — not the pit.
Recycled
Metal, e-waste, mattresses, and clean wood each go to their own certified processor.
Disposed — responsibly
What’s truly done goes to licensed transfer stations, weighed and documented. Never a back road, never a vacant lot.
How we work
House rules.
Doormats down first.
Your floors outrank our schedule. Booties on, corners padded, doorframes protected — every job, even the “it’s just a garage” ones.
Zero judgment, ever.
We’ve emptied hoarder homes, divorce houses, and grief. Whatever we find, we’ve seen heavier. You’ll never get a raised eyebrow from this crew.
The price is the price.
Confirmed before we lift a thing, never revised after. If we misjudged the load from your photo, that’s our tuition — not your problem.
